The National Edition (1938, reissued 1941). A set of all of Idriess's works up to 1938 published as a uniform set of 12 hardback volumes. These were very low issue set as they were a subscription issue set and not available to retailers.
Editions with inscriptions are of great scarcity.

These books are published in Sydney by Angus & Robertson, with the original gilt-dec cloth with frontispieces and numerous illustrations, including endpaper maps in most volumes.
Note the photos regarding the condition of the books. Exterior boards and spine with silverfish damage. Internally clean with some blotting (as pictured), other pages yellowing.
