How is turf sold?

Turf is sold per square metre.

There is no minimum or maximum amount of turf.  Just measure up the area and ring Back 2 Front Turf with your order.

Turf can be picked up from the farm or delivered direct to you.

The turf is rolled like a "swiss roll" and stacked approximately 40-50 rolls per pallet.

Thicker than most

When we cut our turf, it comes with a good coverage of soil around the roots.

Lack of soil around the root structure stresses the turf and it takes longer for it to establish at its new location.

Turf supplied by Back 2 Front Turt has 'meat'.

See the difference!

Above:  Referred to a 'cotton wool', the roots on this sample of Kikuyu are exposed

Left:  Kikuyu turf with 'meat' - thick coverage of soil protects the root structure.
